3. Let's watch this Gaellen Quinn interview and note:
3 important ideas
2 things you found interesting and/or want to know more about
1 question
4. Let's read "Why I Wrote the Last Aloha" by Gaellen Quinn and then write a:
'Found Poem'
- Find 15-20 words/phrases that stand out to you as you read this article
- Identify a theme/message that represents the language you selected (ex: equality, culture, history, etc.-- what idea can tie all of your words together)
- Have your neighbor look at your words to help you identify a theme/message
- Compose your poem using ONLY words found in the article. You may go back to find additional words. DO NOT write your name on your poem. We'll do an anonymous gallery share.
Turn all work in together on one Google doc to the Assignment Dropbox or turn all work in on one piece of paper. The found poem may be on a separate piece of paper.
Reminders: Artifake due Friday, April 6. Assignment for chapters 17-19 due Wednesday, April 4.
